The easiest method I have found for editing these files is to extract ("with subfolders") the \sims\ships\player directory and all of the files therein to your main IWar2 game folder. These files are stored in your resource.zip file in the main IWar2 game directory. There has been multiple times where I just literally have ten other sim families in my world so any mod that adds more story I have to get my hands on. The current story progression in the game lacks a lot of the actually story in the progression. Its more realistic, adds to story line, increases population, and most of all it adds more relationships in the game.
